If you want crazy, well I'm the dog for you!! I am a young Pitt bull mix named Xena. I have had a very rough start and am looking for a kind and patient home to call my own. I am about 2 years old and when I was brought into the shelter I had no hair at all and I was covered with sores. It turns out I had demodectic mange, which is not contagious, but will end up being a life long struggle for me. I will need constant treatment for this problem throughout my life. I am a very sweet girl and have been generously dubbed the Elvis in the building, because I love to curl my lips and smile at everyone. I would need to be the only dog in the household because I am very protective of my food and toys, but I get along beautifully with cats. Everyone notices that I have a medical condition that will take a little more time and TLC than others so no one wants to adopt me. Could you be that special person who could give me a chance at the life I deserve to live???
